With the above introduction about research methods we understand that the induction approach and the conclusive research approach are more suitable to study on this case. We can use the induction approach to study the internal business survey. Because the induction is an effective approach to understand the nature of business or issue, and our aim is to get more information about Shengyue Company, such as its products, structure and competitors. As for the external customer survey, our aim is to have a general understanding of the Shengyue Company’s performance, including the customers’ attitudes to a product and the level of customers’ satisfaction. So conclusive research approach is the best way to analyze and measure the business’s performance. The next is data collection, and it needs to go through two procedures: in-depth interview and structured interview. During the interview, questions should aim to explore the current business situation, the external competition and customer understanding as well as marketing strategy of the company. And the interviewer should pay attention to several points during the research interview. Firstly, the interview should be operated one by one in order to have a good insight and take effect. It can last between 30 and 90 minutes. Secondly, all questions should be detail, open-minded and related to the topic. Lastly, e-mail interview is better than other approaches because interviewees will have enough time to answer questions. The following is data analysis. In this part, the non-quantifying method will be applied because it is suitable to analyze the qualitative data (Cinzia Battistella, 2014).

So what do we need to do before and during the case study? You need to have a good comprehension of analytics and be sensitive to numbers. Our aim is to identify an effective marketing strategy for Chinese manufacturing business by analyzing Shengyue Company, so the research questions should focus on the whole industry and also should take several factors into consideration, such as technology, management and so on. There are totally five questions; the first is interviewees’ opinion about the technological development of Shengyue Company and the quality of products. China has been developing economically very rapidly in recent years, bust manufacturing business accounts for a significant proportion. And some domestic brands are not in the ascendant because the market of electronic products has been occupied by foreign electronic company greatly (Anastasia Kopaneli, 2014). This question is for the internal business survey, and exploring this question can help administrators of Shengyue Company to understand their technical defects, thereby promote technological development. Improving technology is Shengyue’s aim, and sciences as well as technology constitute the primary.

Generally speaking, most of Chinese manufacturing business attach great importance to producing department and make profits through lower labor; however Shengyue Company pays more attention to talents and the development of its human recourse department, so the second question is your opinion of this phenomenon. Let’s analyze why we come up with this question in the questionnaire, there are several reasons. Firstly, people foremost is the modern enterprise management principle, and this advanced management theory can make enterprise develop better (Lily Muliana Mustafa, 2014). Secondly, making changes according to the change of environment is the tip to come to the top; people foremost reflects in this point. Lastly, making full use of its staff is also significant and Shengyue Company makes it.

The third and fourth questions are about industrial structure and servicing system, and the two questions are significant for analyzing marketing strategy. Because Simplicity and diversification are two opposite management strategies by definition, and supervisor must one of them. And servicing system is a silver bullet in market competition, so analyzing this question is of great necessity for Shengyue Company to develop an effective marketing strategy. The last question is about company culture. Corporate values can strengthen cohesive force and development potential in enterprise because it is a fundamental belief and perspective for members to follow. Building company culture promotes to develop the marketing strategy of an enterprise.
