Though this is a scene happens in the movie, we should also pay attention to this problem. Today, human beings produce too much waste in our daily life. Corporations keep creating new products so as to replace the old goods. People are also used to throw away old stuff and willing to buy new things. This is a vicious circle which would result in more and more wastes. Maybe one day, the scene in the film may become reality—the waste and garbage occupies Earth, forcing human beings to immigrate to other planets. Therefore, we should stop this vicious circle and slow down our production and develop new technology in recycling.

Last, but not least, in addition to the natural resources, the only Earth also owns the history, culture and memory of human beings. Thus, even if we could find another planet for us to live, we should be kind to Earth and treat it as our best friend. Some people argue that it is meaningless to protect Earth, because the advanced science and technology are sure to bring us to other habitable planets one day.
