Since 1994, the Brazilian currency has been the Real (plural: Reais), symbol is R$. Brazil change currency several times because of inflation in 1980s and early 1990s. Before 1986, Cruzeiros was its currency, but with several economic plans which cut zero from the bills and change Cruzeiros to Cruzado, then Cruzado to Cruzados Novos, but Cruzeiros came back again in 1900. Finally, Cruzeiros Reais came to life in 1994 when a new monetary plan cut another three zero, which brought stability and enabled Brazil to sustain economic growth over that of the global economy through the coming decade. Since then, the Brazilian citizens gradually get used to the new currency because of maintainance of a stable and civilized levels of inflation. There are bills of R$1, R$2, R$5, R$10, R$20, R$50 and R$100. The bills are illustrated with image of Brazilian animals and there are feminine character on the other side which is a representation of the republic. And 1 cent,5 cent,25 cent,50 cent and 1 real are different value of coins .

Brazilians have no authorization to have bank accounts in dollar, you can find currency exchange businesses in all major cities  Brazilian  and an efficient information technology infrastructure is developed , which allows foreigners can use Brazilian ATMs by using major credit card and withdraw cashes .
Brazil is a developing country and is the world’s seventh largest economy in 2013. It is a member of the BRIC(Brazil, Russia, India ,China) group, a founding member of the United Nations,CPLP, Lation( the G20,Brazil is a founding member of the United Nations, the G20, CPLP, Latin Union, the Organization of Ibero-American States, the Organization of American States, Mercosul and the Union of South American Nations. Its GDP (gross domestic product) is $2.253 trillion in 2012. The GNI(gross national income)per capita increase rapidly since 2003 and come to $11,630 in 2012.The poverty headcount ratio at national poverty line decrease gradually and drop down to 15.9% in 2012.( the World bank, Brazil)
Agricultural, mining, manufacturing and service are key sectors of its economy (the Washington post, country guide: Brazil) . Roughly, one fifth of the work force is related to agriculture. The major crops like coffee which are the world’s largest producer and exporter, citrus fruit especially juice oranges which is also the world’s largest producer, soybean, rice, corn, sugarcane, cocoa, cotton, tabacco and banana. Most of the agricultural products like bananas, oranges, sugarcane, cocoa benefit from its trophic weather, especially the abundance of trees give access to timbering. Livestock like cattle, pigs and sheep accounts for another part of agriculture.
As for mining, because of its vast mineral wealth like iron ore, tin, quatz, chromeore, especially iron ore which is the world’s largest producer. The abundance of mining give Brazil the chance to export the resources to other countries where the mining resources is rare. On the other hand, Brazil can import machinery, electrical and transportation equipment, chemical products that is in need. It is a way to re-distribute the resources and a win-win situation by international trading. The manufacturing industries including textiles, shoes, aircraft, motor vehicles are also developing rapidly. Besides, Brazil possesses extensive untapped hydroelectric potential, particularly in the Amazon basin, which can be used for electricity. Generally, most trade is with the United States, Argentina, China, and Germany.
According to database (Doing Business, Economy Ranking), in the following table (see table 1), we can see the ranking of the complexity of doing a business between Brazil and China, the higher of the index, the easier of doing a business.

Table 1 the Economy ranking in doing a business in Brazil and China (source: Doing Business, Economy Ranking)
Since 2008, Brazil begins a series of reforms to make doing business more easier(Doing Business, Business Reforms in Brazil) , including easing trading across the world and enforcing Contracts in 2008, taking new risk-based management system and decreasing in time for exports and exports in 2009, easing the process of starting a business and reduce the relative tax burdens on firms in 2010, easing the start of the business by futher enhancing synchronization between federal and state tax authorities in 2012, futher enforcing contracts in 2013. The same as Brazil, China (Doing Business, Business reforms in China) also make lots of reforms in economy since 2008 including resolving insolvency, getting permits and credit, paying tax and enforcing contracts, easing the trade across the broader. In a word, China and Brazil are both developing countries and they are doing excellent job in its rapid development. They both accelerate their steps toward the world trade because of Brazil and china are large countries which depends a lot on exporting its resources to make money and importing the needed products. We can see that all those reforms in economy making doing a business easier not only domestic but international, and the cost to start a business become easier than it is used to be. However, from the table, it seems that China encourages more economies reforms and make it easier to doing a business because of its large population and development situation. Compared with China, although Brazil’s GDP ranks is behind the China, but its population is not as large as China, and thus its income level belongs to upper middle income level while China still has a long way to go.
According to the economy development in the past years, the World Bank give an estimation of Brazil’s economy (the World Bank, Global Economic Prospects). Because of the subdued, softer commodities prices and domestic challenges, all those factors constrain the GDP growth from 2012 to 2013. However, as I indicated above, most of countries are trying their best to join in the international trade and make the international trade easier, which means the international economy condition is getting better and better. Thus the regional economic outlook is positive especially to those countries like Brazil and China who join in the international trade actively. Therefore, it is estimated that there is still a little GDP growth in the following years, which is promising. However, there still has downside risk when disorderly interest distribution and a prolonged and deeper slump in commodity prices.
