New York Olyimpics The Olympics have been around since 1896 bringing people all over the world entertainment. Throughout the years, controversy on whether if the Olympics are really necessary have been an issue in question. My personal opinion in this matter is that I believe that the Olympics are not necessary due to the fact that it’s very expensive to be held, terrorist may attack at any time, and we should be focusing on more important issues like charity. The money that is being spent for these games to be held can be used towards schools and scholarships allowing kids and adults to continue to better themselves. Nowadays, too much time and money is being used in order for the Olympics to be held. When it could be used for more productive causes the world would have less problems.
