The Beach The Beach As the warm rush of salty water sweeps over my skin, I feel as though I am being pulled into an endless journey. I do not know where I may be lead to, so I bury my feet into the loose sand to avoid being swept away. This powerful force is the ocean. I stand where the ocean and sand come together in amazement. I wonder what will happen if I let myself go and allow the ocean's waves to guide my path. Would I be placed safely to lie securely on the sand, or would I begin an inconclusive journey across the water' As I face this flowing body of blues, greens, yellows, and purples, these are the thoughts that cross my mind. When I arrive at the beach and take my first footstep on the sand, I feel the loose grains form around my feet and in between my toes. This feeling is always a mixture of pleasure and awkwardness until I once again get accustomed to this unique sensation.
