My Dog Mica, our nine-year-old dog, was always an energetic, cheerful and a sociable member of our family. Mica being with us in the family for so long made me feel that she was mortal just like all of us. Over the past several months, my family and I noticed that Mica had progressively become more lazy about the house and outside. At first, we thought something was wrong. We believed that she had come down with some type of sickness. After a while, we came to our senses and realized that it was probably just old age. Then, she stopped eating. Again, our natural intuition told us wrong, as we figured that it was just a stomach worm. We then decided to take her to the vet for an inspection, to see what exactly was wrong with her. I was busy the next several days while my mom had checked her into the vet, and soon became relaxed as I forgot about Mica over the next several days. Then, one night, it all changed.
