Colors Of War “Colors of a War” Thick layers of golden-white fog smothered the mesquite trees encircling Jp and Chris. It was only around 5:30 A.M. and the tip of the sun was rising over the mountains that trapped the endless view of farmland and small cities making up the large area. Summer had just emerged through spring at the end of ninth grade for the two. It was their forever-been opponent, Dave Griffon’s birthday.
