Who Has Had The Greatest Impact On Your Life' Who has had the greatest impact on your life' My grandmother, (Mrs. Effiemae Hayes) has the greatest impact on my life. Mrs. Hayes was a strong willed person full of love and kindness. Her Christianity for the love of God out-weighed a lot of things she’s done and has become in life. Mrs. Hayes is the teacher of old family morals, values, unity and respect. Born and raised in Chase City, VA and coming from a family of eleven siblings, she was one of the youngest. In those days everyone was unable to finish school. Growing-up we’ve spent many summer vacations with my grandma in Richmond, VA. At that time she has always kept us busy with activities while she was at work. Either we were in a summer camp or spending days with my cousins or my uncle Joe. Just to name a few things my grandma did for my sister (Joy) and me. As we’ve gotten older, I find my grandma to more of a girlfriend, ear-to-listen, and shoulder to cry on long-distance. I had communication with my grandmother as if she’s my oldest sister.
