Ryan My Friend, Ryan One day before graduation and I was ready. At graduation practice, we did the usual, stand up, and sit down, boring stuff. Afterwards, everyone in the class got together and signed yearbooks and talked about the future. I sat with my friends Ryan and Marcus to eat. We discussed what we were planning to do, knowing little about what the future would hold for us. Later that night my friend threw a party. Greeting us with welcome arms, after the welcome he gave me a Red Stripe and showed me to the living room. I sat there having a good time waiting for my friends to show up. Stumbling through the door with his usual good cheer, Ryan said, “The party may now begin.” Always the life of the party, he broke in with his usual snapping his fingers and dancing to the background music-of course this was some cheesy top 40 song at the time-that made even the most depressed person smile.
