Granny

Granny I always looked forward to my summer vacations. This was the one time of the year that I got to spend with my grandmother. When I would get out of school my parents would send me to the country for the summer. I loved it. Spending my summers with my grandmother were some of the best times I remember. She was always very kind to everyone. She treated everyone like they were family. Granny firmly believed in it takes a village to raise a child. Granny had long curly hair that she always wore in two braids. Standing only at four feet seven inches she is a feisty little woman. Her smile is so warm and inviting. It makes you feel like no matter how big or small the problem is, she can fix it. At ninety-four years old she is still running her house and anybody else’s who she thinks needs some help. There was a time when some kids were stealing peaches from her peach tree. It made her mad because they would trample through her garden. She had asked them before to stay out of her garden.
