Bam Bam! It hits you like a brick. You never now when it is going to happen, you have no clue who, where, how, and why. Until right then, everything in your life seemed so easy. Losing a friend for the first time is one of the worst things that can and does happen to a high school senior. I am Hugo Conde and I lost a good friend of mine to a motorcycle accident. He was seventeen when it happened. He had just gotten his first motorcycle and his name was Damien Bello. I still think of him and the things that he did to make people laugh. I was so sad when I heard. This essay should be a reminder and a wake-up call to everyone that life can end in the blink of an eye. The things that took place November 30, 2001 are to be Tran scripted to paper by me for the first time. I will never forget that day. I was, at the time, working at Domino’s Pizza and I had just gotten off of work. I went to my friend Tyler’s house and we watched TV, played video games, etc. Then at around 1am never, didn’t, time, going, friend, first, things, people, off, died, thinking, one, knew, heard, happened, happen, go, day, bike, worst, work, terror, sadness, right, ran, party, outside, motorcycle, mine, life, know, just, hour, home, help, half, gotten, funeral, friends, forget, feel, ever, dude, disappointment, days, damien, call, anything, angry, anger, again
