Was It Worth It' It was a shadowy night with low cloud cover; it was perfect for the task at hand. My friends and I were ready and confident. My hands were trembling, my eyes were looking back and forth across my friends, and my smile was so big it almost hurt. The night would be invigorating. I could read the faces of each of my friends; I knew what each person was thinking. Jamie’s tan face was blank and still, obviously running each detail and situation through her mind. Jen was pacing back and forth biting her already non-existent fingernails in anticipation, ready to have a good time. Katie, who had her arms wrapped around her bent legs, was rocking back and forth, she was nervous and trying not to listen to Jana who was talking non-stop to anybody that would listen. Jana had no fear of the possible consequences of our actions, if we were to get caught, it would be because of her. Then there was me, always looking for a good time but always holding the fear of being caught. I could never shake the thought of what my dad would do, especially if the police caught jen, said, car, out, one, katie, looked, jana, house, each, am, way, tent, made, lets, jamie, caught, start, just, going, go, finally, back, turned, through, rog, replied, ready, parents, paper, nothing, knew, forth, come, being
