Bionicles

Bionicles Lego has definitely come up with a different idea in their Bionicle line. Instead of old-style Legos where you simply bought a set, and it could be constructed and rebuilt into a million different designs, Lego has created action figures you build with specific pieces and, unless you want, it is not really a take-it-apart and do-it-again toy. Bionicles are mechanical beings with, of course, good guys and bad guys, but also monsters, priests and more. These are primarily geared toward boys in the 8-13 range, although I guess girls could play with them too. These mechanical action figures you buy and build yourself.
