Energy Energy In order to create a drink that is new and marketable to the public, it was necessary to find a niche that nobody has done yet. My creation is an energy drink that offers various vitamins and minerals that are not found in any other beverage on the market. It will not contain any ephedra or ephedra-like products, caffeine or blood thinners commonly found in most “weight-loss” energy drinks. It will contain extracts from grape seeds, red wine, pine bark, bilberry, and citrus. The reason for this is many different scientific studies have shown that these specific ingredients promote energy and awareness in people. It will have various natural fruit flavors to enhance the taste. The main problem with this product is marketing it so not to scare people off with the energy label. Many people feel turned away from energy drinks/pills because of the negative publicity ephedra has received in recent past. Another major problem will be trying to sell the taste of the product. Many people find that beverages full of vitamins do not taste good. I will need to prove otherwise.
