How Has Your Family History, Culture, Or Environment Influenced Who You Are' My family environment of being in the military has influenced who I am as a person. Because my dad is in the military, we have moved all over the world and I have seen many different cultures. Even though I have hated the fact of us moving, seeing different cultures has helped me become the person that I am. I have always been exposed to those who are different than me and I have found that I respect people no matter where they are from. I have been in many different environments that have challenged me as a person. I have gone from physically living in foreign cultures and then back to living the American life. Even living in the United States has given me an outlook on our own cultures. I have moved from the south and then to the north and seen how different people are, even though they live in the same country. Through seeing so many diverse cultures, I have been able to find ways to relate to those different from me. However, I have also found myself unable to understand racism and the beliefs behind that. I believe my environment has both exposed me to the cultures of the world and made me examine my own life. Bibliography:
