The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy was written by Douglas Adams. It follows Arthur Dent who is pulled out of earth seconds before it was destroyed. He accompanies a hitchhiking alien who was stranded on earth for fifteen years. The book is full of Adams’ quick wit and clichés. I never before was ever really interested in science fiction novels, but this novel have a very comical approach to it, which made it very enjoyable. The characters are so well developed they each reflect the many different people that exist on earth, even though many of the characters were not even human. The dialogue between them is clever, with classic one-liners that kept me laughing. Adam’s does an excellent job in the description and detail.
