Review Of The Woman Warrior Review of: The Woman Warrior When I first picked up the book and read the title, The Woman Warrior, I feared for my life that this was going to be another boring book that had been assigned because it was the only book the professor could find that was dealing with the material we cover in class. I was utterly wrong! The book in general was put together nicely and was well written in my opinion. I really enjoyed the chapter entitled, “The White Tigers”. It amazed me to read how the little girl was taken from her home and trained for many years to become a warrior just like a man would be. It was fun not knowing what she was going to run into next once she actually went on her journey where the white tigers were. I also enjoyed the chapter which talks about the mother going through school to become a doctor. I was shocked at how she described the delivering of the babies and how they would sometimes be killed or were confused with being demons or pigs. The part where she began fighting with the ghosts and woman, warrior, book, really, chinese, going, enjoyed, chapter, become, about, white, understand, tigers, talk, read, part, little, life, left, just, ghosts, culture, confused, being, began, because, when, years, wrong, written, won’t, whole, way, utterly
