Invisible Man The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells is a strange account of a man’s scientific experiments. This long short story written in the third person is an amazing combination of action and thrill. It takes place in various little towns around the 1800's. This story tells of a man's desire and what it cost him. The story begins in a small town called Iping, in an inn called Coach and Horses. A strange man dressed in trenchcoat and hat and bandages walks in demanding a fire and a room. Mrs. Hall lit the fire and left him in his room to go and fix a meal. As she attempts to gather his wet clothes he refuses and request to keep them. This starts the odd impressions of the town’s people toward him. Days go by as this man keeps to himself and associates with no one. The town’s people start hearing strange noises from his room and begin getting suspicious. With all this suspicion going around Mr. Cuss, the local practitioner, Went to interview this man.
