The Courter CULTURE CONFLICT Immigration is a subject which is still seen all over the world. Although it is an interesting, it has lots of difficulties. People who immigrate from one country to another become face to face to lots of problems. These can be named as language, culture and conformity problems. There are some examples in the story, “The Courter”, which are very similar to these. In this story, there is a family which lives in India and after some time, they move to England because of some situations. Later on, they start to live some kinds of problems between the languages and the cultures. Although they speak the same language, English, in India, they meet with some difficulties about British English. For example, one day, one of the family members is beaten by a chemist because of a wrong usage of a word.
