Attack On America September 11th will not only live in infamy but also be inscribed in the heart and soul of every American. Tuesday was a day of unspeakable horror and carnage. The pictures and images of the tragedy continue to instill deeply into he minds of the awestruck viewers. The skyline of Manhattan is now altered forever; the twin towers are no more. The symbol of America’s military clout, the pentagon, is now marred. All Americans alike must unify to eradicate terrorism on our soil and across the world. At approximately 9:20 am Tuesday morning, my grandfather informed me of the catastrophe. My grandfather flagged me down as I was pulling out of my driveway, and informed me that a plane had struck the first World Trade tower. I was taken aback by the news but I believed it to be a horrible accident, but in the back of my mind I had a notion that terrorism could have been the culprit. Upon arriving at Augusta State University my teacher briefly mentioned the tragedy but did not disclose any details.
