Cather In The Rye The project I pick was create a timeline based on the main events of Holden’s two day adventure. Chapters 1-5 Holden tell us that he is in L.A. He tells us that his last school was Pencey Prep. He got kick out because he was failing four subjects and he was only passing Lang Art. Holden was telling us that he purchased a red hunting hat for a buck in New York City. You get to meet Holden roommate Stradlater how is a secret slob but Holden tell us he is a handsome guy and real good with the ladies. Holden Lang. art teacher would like to see Holden before he leave and he ask Holden to write a descriptive essay on something so Holden wrote it on his brother baseball glove. Stadlater made fun of Holden for writing the essay on the baseball glove and they got in a fight. But Stadlater was going on a date with this girl name Jane Gallagher who Holden know form the summer. They play checker over the summer.
