A Rose For Emily A Rose for Emily After reading the story, A Rose for Emily, I set the book down and thought about the story for a bit. I found that there was a lot of symbolism used in the story. From the information gathered, I decided to write about how the author compared the house to Emily so much. Instead of giving my opinion of why I didn’t like the story much, I am going to take a different route in my journal this week. I am going to interpret the symbolism of the house to the main character in the story which is Emily.
