My Ishmael My Ishmael As we have now entered the twenty first century, we are left with a depicting question of tomorrow. A fragrance of fruitfulness of a once clear and present beginning. Where we are today is of by no certainty a lead into tomorrow. A once abundant amount of resources shadowed mankind. Now the sun has turned and the shadow no longer exists as our resources are diminishing. The question that should probe all of us today is why. Why have we taken a virgin planet full of abundant resources and miss allocated them' Is this man’s natural state of evolution' Is this mother natures assurance that man indeed is not the top of the chain' Or, is it a distressing fact of man’s ignorance' We have become a species of takers that led to the antagonistic view of our resources. The earth, which was once man’s crutch, has now become worn and insubstantial. It is indeed a clear and present danger that because of our actions today our tomorrow is shortened.
