Huck Finn Define and explain how the aspects of society that Twain satirized still exist today. There are many aspects of society that Twain satirized that still exist today. There is still judgment by look/actions, judgment of color, and finally judgment of language. We’ve all been involved in most of these judgments somehow. We either are the ones doing it or we are the ones that it’s been done at. Still, today there are things that we do as a part of society that Twain satirizes a great amount in the novel “Huckleberry Finn.” Not all the things that Mark Twain satirized on happens anymore. For example, we do not hang blacks or other races anymore. Even though the KKK still exist in some areas, your consequence for doing such a horrible thing now will be very big and harsh. But there is still prejudice towards other races, just not as strong. Twain used things such as judging others (or in this case Huck) by the way they acted and the way they talked to satirize on. Huck, a teenager, was really a bum.
