Flowers In The Attic Flowers in the Attic is a story about a small family that is very caring for one another and is not afraid to show it. The father goes away every week for his job and comes back on the weekends to see his family. The kids Carrie and Chris wait for his loving kisses at the door. The family gets some good news that their will be a set of twins added to the family which Carrie doesn’t think is so good, (she doesn’t want anyone to take away her daddy’s love from her). The babies arrive and they have the perfect family until their father’s birthday. He was coming home from work and his family was throwing him a surprise party with all his friends and family members. They heard a nock on the door and opened it expecting to see their father. But it was two police officers coming to bring them bad news. They explained to Cathy (the mother) that her husband had died in a car accident. No one wants to believe this tragedy but theirs no other choice and they have to face the facts.
