Hatchet Thirteen-year-old Brian Robeson is on his way to visit his father in a small single engine plane when suddenly the pilot has a heart attack. Not knowing if the pilot is dead Brian continues to fly the plane. Soon after that the plane runs out of fuel and crashes in the middle of a lake somewhere in the Canadian Wilderness. Left alone with nothing but a windbreaker, a hatchet his mother gave him, and the secret of his mom with another man, he is forced to survive and adapt his mind to his surroundings.
