The story that I am going to make into my report is the second story of the book “The Pin.” Setting: Before wrestling season, location unknown. Characters: Johnny Rivers, his mom Maggie Rivers, his brother MacAurther Rivers, his dad Cecil B. Rivers, and his coach “Coach.” Point of view: First person point of view Theme: The theme of this story was that parents shouldn’t be so hard on their kids. Plot: This story is about Johnny Rivers, a 17-year-old high school wrestler. Johnny is the son of Cecil B. Rivers, a great wrestler in his day.
