Frankenstein And The Role Of The Parent In the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley it discusses many important themes. She presents these themes through the characters and their actions. It primarily is about a monster that acted violent but also moderately towards two people, Victor and the man in the cottage. Through the entire story all the monster ever wanted was to have someone to be with. Another thing the monster does not have in his life is parents. Parents lead a very important role in young children’s lives. They are models, teachers and mentors. Without parents many children would be homeless, lonely and searching for the one thing we take for granted. As for the monster the first time he ever saw Victor he saw horror and Victor running away. Being that the monster saw Victor when he first came to life, he had to search for him to feel complete. In the novel birth and creation play a strong role they bring up the points of tampering with nature, being overcome with selfishness, and creating life without a woman. Victor assumes the role of women, man, and God. It is a huge responsibility to bring a life into the world, into a loving family that monster, victor, life, creature, love, being, wanted, very, himself, family, never, even, away, alone, time, parents, world, turned, people, one, normal, man, create, child, society, realized, made, know, important, first, creator, creation, created, care, after, without
