Death By Landscape I can really relate to the story Death by Landscape by Margaret Atwood. It reminds me of home and how someone very closed to me suddenly just disappeared from my life. Like Lois (the main character of the story) I went to go and do some errands for mother’s day only to drive up and find my father passed out in the back yard blue and purple. I can relate to Lois and how she laments on passed memories of her best friend in the summer or in the end of the story she looks at paintings and can faintly see her beloved friend some where in the back round. I to, look at certain scenes in my life and see my fathers face looking on to see what I might accomplish next as if to say now that you can do this you can most certainly try something a little harder. However there are other ways that I can relate to this story. Like having a best friend when you go off to camp.
