Campus Racism Campus Racism 101 was written by Nikki Giovanni, a professor at Virginia Tech. Giovanni tells black students how to succeed at predominantly white colleges. I think that Giovanni is correct on a lot of aspects but at the same time I feel like this essay is a little bit outdated. Today, campuses are filled with many different kinds and types of people from many countries and in many different phases of their lives. Most of the major universities are starting to have equal numbers of races besides white.
