Brave New World Brave New World The author of this great book Brave New World is Aldous Huxley. He was born in Surrey England in 1894. I believe that Aldous Huxley was one of the greatest authors of this generation. In 1959 Aldous Huxley received the Award of Merit for the novel from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. I usually do not enjoy reading books but this book captured me. The main point of this book I believe was to create a perfect place, especially in its social, political, and moral issues that you would encounter in every day life. I am now going to give you a summary of the book. Second I would like to discuss how this book relates with society today. Then I will give you my opinion on the book and what I thought of it. Brave New World starts you off in a laboratory where they are making artificial babies or what I like to call them test tube babies. Lenina is a woman in this society that sometimes just doesn’t understand why they do certain things in her society. Her first attraction is to a guy in her society named Bernard.
