If only there were someone to fly around the world and pass out a lives worth of food to each person; someone to sail across the seas to hunt down the kidnappers and bring them to “justice”; or even someone to soar high into the sky and stop a bomb with their bare hands. That is where our heroes come in; yes we do have our great policemen and firemen, but if we had Beowulf and Superman life would seem a whole lot easier. A hero by definition is a mythological or legendary figure of great strengths or ability, in which both Beowulf and Superman are. Beowulf was greater and stronger than anyone, anywhere in his world! He was mightiest of the Geats. Beowulf would travel long distances just to be there when help was needed most. He was a leader, not just for the Geats but all mankind. He was also a man who showed no fear and would back down from no fight no matter how big the challenge!
