Al Pacino Biography Hailed as one of the greatest actors in all of film history, Al Pacino established himself in is known as one of films greatest actors in all of film history, Al Pacino established himself in the 70’s, what is known as one of films greatest decades, and has since yet become an enduring and iconic figure in the world of movies and theatre. Born Alfredo Pacino in New York, USA April 25th 1940 to mother and father Rose and Salvatore. As a child, Al would often find himself repeating plots and voices of characters whom he had seen in movies. Al’s parents divorced when he was young and his mother moved them into his grandparents home. Being bored and unmotivated, Al found a haven for the school plays. His interest in the plays soon sprouted into a full time career.
