Problematic Relationshiop The relationship I have with my father has never been to great, as long as I can remember he has always been slipping in and out of my life. My mother and father married very young, and did not know what they were getting into, a big commitment. When they found out they were having a baby he was not very excited, he never wanted a child. My mother and father were together until I was three years old, and then my father left us. He still came to visit us sometimes, but not to often. The older I got the more I do not see him as a father, just a sperm donator. Years went by and nothing ever changed, he would always blame it on work and how he could never take off to spend time with me. I was never sad or hurt by it, if he would have been close to me when he was around I’m sure it would have affected me a lot more. My parents finally divorced when I was about five years old, then just a year later he married again.
