Homeschooling Not too long ago, when people thought of parents who home schooled their kids, extremists came to mind. Today, this view is changing. Home schooling does not impair children because of how much time and money it saves, the curriculum options, and the better attitude about school that it gives children. Families that home school are often happier than other families who don’t. The average student attending a public school spends at least 8 hours a day at school, not to mention extra curricular activities and homework.
