Assisted Suicide Assisted suicide and end of life decisions are a very sensitive topic. I feel like this article did a very good job of listing arguments in favor of or against rational suicide. I really like the point that an individual should have the right to make the decision for their lives. It also states that the majority of the public believes that a painful terminal illness is an acceptable reason for a person to choose to end their life. The opposing side feels that most suicidal people are depressed or is an abuser of drugs or alcohol. I feel the opposing side didn't really make any good points about the terminally ill they talked more about suicide in general. I also feel that the topic should be discussed among family members, their doctors and have a psychiatric evaluation done but on the other hand if you are terminal report, suicide, should, feel, side, people, among, about, terminal, stated, really, part, pain, opposing, older, make, lot, lives, life, ill, hand, good, didnt, decision, way, very, unanswered, topic, time, terminally, talked, suicidal, states, situation
