Terrorism Should Be Dealt With Sternly Terrorism Should Be Dealt with Sternly What should we as a nation do if terrorists attack us' Should we do nothing at all and let others pick on us like swollen vegetables or should we prove to them that we’re not easily defeated' Recently, on September 11, 2001, our nation was attacked by terrorism; it is sad but true, thousands of innocent lives were taken away by the cruel act of terrorism. I was devastated when I overheard the news while I was having lunch at San Jose State University. Therefore, terrorism should be dealt with sternly. First reason why we should be strict on terrorism would be that it’d warn our enemies that we’re not easily defeated and that we’re capable of fighting back. We would only be taken for granted by our enemies if we don’t fight back because our opposing country (as of today, Afghanistan) would assume that we are a weak nation and that we’re not brave enough to fight back. Speaking from my past experience with my next- door neighbor who had always left his dog’s waste and many other junks of his on my lawn and that just pissed me off.
