Gun Control Gun Control Gun control is unnecessary, it will not solve the problem, people are the root of violence, not guns. Guns will not end violence. What needs to be corrected is the unstable people with guns. Eliminating guns from society will not help what really needs to be helped---the people. If crazed people did not have access to guns to kill with, they may use more drastic measures to commit violence or crime. Banning guns will not solve the root of the problem. People that commit acts of violence with guns obviously have problems that need to be solved, if guns were not available to these people, their problems will still not be solved. What needs to be increased is counseling services, and anti-violence idea's in the schools and media, not gun laws.
