The Color Of Fear The Color of Fear-A Political Street Have you ever encountered a person on the street and been perceived as a harmful' Have you ever seen a person and judged them based on something other than a fact' Does the complexion of one’s face have a (n) affect on the way you will treat this person. If so then ask yourself why! That is what this documentary, The Color of Fear-A Political Street, is about racism, social distance, and acculturation. This documentary was very interesting for me to watch, it enlightened me on some thoughts that ran through my head. However I did not feel like I was included in these feelings; while I could understand some of the men’s perspectives, it would have more beneficial to hear women’s point of views as well. These men all had very strong opinions about the others races and freely expressed them. But what I found to be most interesting was the idea that all of these men believed they were inferior to one particular group. And the member of that group believed it was all because he was given that power.
