Southeast Florida The Political Future Of Tomorrow Southeast Florida the political future of tomorrow When one thinks of a particular state the identity of the people within that state comes to mind. A good example is the state of New York with its New-Yorkers or the state of Texas with their sense of pride. Unfortunately this is not the case for the state of Florida who has yet to find an identity that will describe the nature of its people. We cannot say that we are southerners because the term has a connotation of Civil War resentment. Most of the Floridians in the south do not even know the meaning of such a word. As confusing as the identity of the state is, the identity of a political party shares such confusions. There is no one particular identity or trait that can describe neither Floridians nor its political agenda. We are a state of retirement, a vacation destination and a clueless participant of politics.
