Government And Justic Throughout history, writers and philosophers alike have often shared their views and insights on many different subjects. Many of these ideas have evolved and have been elaborated on, and are still relevant in today’s society and culture. There are however, two particular themes that are of an even greater significance to the 21st century. These are of course the idea of government and justice. Throughout history, philosophers have debated over different methods of government, as well as what is justice. The main goal of every form of government was to strive toward justice. But what is justice' Justice can mean different things to different people, however Aristotle said it best; “…Justice is the key to the happiness of the community.” Justice is achieved when all members of a society are working together, all for the common good of each other. In exploring the question of “what is justice'” one must first look at government. Governments were set up with the purpose of maintaining social order in a society. They also provide a way for citizens to come together so they all can prosper and live well. Jean-Jacques Rousseau stated in justice, society, idea, however, aristotle, government, good, equality, different, state, goes, together, throughout, question, men, life, key, history, between, best, whole, way, states, share, say, sake, said, players, philosophers, own, members, ideas
