Justification No Justification Iraq is a country that became a target for the United States this year. President Bush felt it is essential to go to war with Iraq. The question that many citizens have is why. Was there any justification for the 2003 war in Iraq' Justification means that an action is reasonable or necessary. Be it resolved that the 2003 war in Iraq be not justified because of lack of weapons, lies from President Bush, and loss of trust. President Bush presents that the ownership of weapons of mass destruction that are “capable of killing millions” as a main justification for waging war with Iraq this year (Bowman). George Tenet, director of central intelligence, said that “we do not have any direct evidence that Iraq has used the period since Desert Fox to reconstitute its (weapons of mass destruction) programs, although given his past behavior, it is regarded as likely” (Bowman). The United States government went on an assumption. An after a long search no weapons are found.
