In order to understand and isolate the hatred for America, one must first scrutinize the image of the United States. One can the examples of McDonalds, Britney Spears, and the Jerry Springer Show, analyze the implication of each on the image of the United States, and the question to “why they hate us” become rather obvious. For example, McDonalds represents America’s addiction to eating on the go, and rarely having time to actually sit down for dinner. McDonalds, now located in every major city across the globe, is also representative of the United States’ imperialistic tendency to interfere.
