The Road Not Taken The reason I choose “The Road Not Taken” by the great Robert Frost is simply because I like this it. Not only is it written by Frost who is my favorite poet but is about being a nonconformist, which I think I am. In lines 18-20 “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” Frost is trying to get the point across that it is ok not to do what everyone else does just the be yourself. The speaker of this poem is the author Robert Frost. The occasion of this poem is a choice, it could be anything whether is be something small like buying a pair of sneaker, something poem, frost, think, people, about, yourself, worry, thing, taken, something, robert, road, purpose, just, everyone, choose, choice, written, wood, whether, two, trying, traveled, took, tone, themselves, telling, subject, speaker, sneaker, small, simply, significantly, saying, satisfied
