T.s Eliot T.S. Eliot In his article, “Prufrock, J. Alfred Prufrock,” Christopher Ricks talks about one of T.S. Eliot’s famous poem, “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.” T.S. Born in 1888 in St. Louis, Missouri from an old New England family. A businessman and poet, Henry and Charlotte Eliot. He was educated in English, European Literature and Eastern and Western philosophy and religion. In his mid twenties he moved to England, leaving behind his career in philosophy at Harvard. He then got married to a woman by the name of Ezra Pound. It was then he brought out his famous work”Prufrock” around 1917, which was about the unfulfilled yearning for love, for a love.
