Romantic Movement Romantic Movement Essay While the Romantic poets focused on an image or insignificant to help understand themselves and the world around them, so did I. I focused on a place, an important place to help me gain understanding about myself and the world around me. This place is my hideout from the rest of the world, it impacts me in many ways, and I learn a lot about myself when I’m in it. It places me in a location that many people themselves are very fond of. This place is my room. My room is a four-walled comfort zone, in which I spend a lot of my time. It is decorated with pictures of family and friends. There are many posters and stuffed animals everywhere. I’m a neat freak, so it is always clean and organized, compared to the rest of my home. My room impacts me a lot because I consider it my hideout. When I don’t want to be with my family, and when I want to be left alone, it’s the place to be. Once I close the door, and lock it, I feel relaxed and at peace. Nobody can bug me or interfere in my life.
