This report will tell you about his life and how he became one of the great leaders of America. John F. Kennedy was born in Brookline, Massachusetts on May 29, 1917. His grandfather was an immigrant from Ireland he arrived in America in 1849. He was part of a huge wave of Irish immigrants coming to America because of poverty and disease in Ireland. His mother also was from Ireland. They met on the voyage to America and later got married. They had a son, which would later be the father of John F. Kennedy. His father was very determined to be successful and make money, but being Irish made it very difficult to get into good colleges. This made him more determined to succeed. He graduated from Harvard University and became the youngest bank president in America. He later married Rose Fitzgerald daughter of a well-known politician. Later John F. Kennedy was born. Since his father was a very determined and a successful person.
