Animal Rights Terrorism Animal Rights Terrorism Animals all across the worlds are terrorized day after day, whether it’s for the use of cheap food, safe medicines or the making of a new product. The opinions of many people think that the use of animals for medicine and product making can be decreased. Because the help of the helpless animals in the factories, farms, or laboratories when being put to wrong use is physical cruelty. Cruelty to animals is degrading and considered to be wrong. Animal Rights are as important, if not equally important to human rights. The doctrine of species has encouraged more people to think of animal rights in the same way that the rest of humanity thinks of human rights (Singer, Regan). Animals comprise multi-cellular organisms that have a defined shape, limited growth, can move voluntarily, actively acquire food and digest it internally (Webster’s Universal College Dictionary 32). They also have senses and nervous systems that allow them to respond to stimuli, as humans require with great similarity. Certainly animals should be treated humanely, but animal subjects are often necessary in experiments to develop medicines that will save or improve human life.
