Fight Club In class are assignment was to Watch the movie Fight Club and analyze the importance of Marla Singer. Marla just makes the plot of Fight Club more difficult and twisted. She is more like the narrator than she thinks. They both are faking that they have an illness and attend group sessions just so they can feel more complete. Marla goes there because she likes to watch the people, how they act when they have an illness and how it can change someone’s life. I believe that Marla is also what the narrator wants to be, she is free from many things in her life. She has no standards or expectations to live up to she is her own person and answers to herself.
