Nosferatu

Nosferatu Nosferatu F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu was the first film of its kind. This film created the mold for all future horror films to come, though many variations will come, this will still remain the basis. The entire film was done is low light, and even blurry to a point. This may have just been because of the poor equipment of the times, or another tool of the trade to instill the notion of wonder, what exactly is that on the screen. The film was filmed almost entirely on location also, this is a much better method for trying fool the audience into thinking its not a movie, that’s a real castle, not some painted cardboard. Nosferatu made a twist on the classic Dracula that we have all come to know. In virtually all other Dracula films Count Dracula is a suave gentlemen, in this film he is portrayed almost like a rat. He is very tall and skinny; his fingers are much longer than a normal human, his face is long and pointy and his head bald.
